How to Share a Progress Update

Share progress with your group by completing a habit or posting a check-in, with an optional photo and mood.

The feed is where your group's momentum lives. You can share progress two ways: by completing a habit, or by posting a free-form check-in.

Steps

  1. Open the activity feed.
  2. Select Add update at the top of the feed.
  3. Choose how you'd like to share:
    • Mark a Habit Complete - pick a pending habit and log it. If it's a shared habit, an update is posted to your group.
    • Post a Check-In - write a short update (up to 500 characters) to share with your group.
  4. For a check-in, type your message. If you belong to more than one group, choose which group(s) to post to.
  5. Share your update.

Share straight from the Habits tab

You don't have to start from the feed. On your home dashboard, open the Habits tab and log a habit that's shared with a group. The post composer opens automatically so you can:

  • Add a caption (title and description).
  • Attach a photo.
  • Log your mood for the day.

Then share, and your completion appears in the group feed.

TIP

Check-ins are great for the days you want to say more than a habit tick can capture - a win, a wobble, or a word of encouragement for the group.

Once your update is live, your group can comment and react.
